I recently purchased a Trunk for my Harley Davidson Electra Glide. This trunk did not come with a lock. I purchased the lock seperatley and found that Harley does not provide installation instructions on mounting this lock.

   There should be a large nut a lockwasher a hook and srew to hold the hook in place. Remove everything from the shaft of the lock. put the shaft through the hole screw down the lockwasher and nut attach hoos in a position so it catches the lid when the key is in lock position. Super simple
