$

Description

Trying to Decide what i should get next, I have a V-star 650 now and i really like how it rides but i need to upgrade. I rode my friends Sportster 883 and hated how top end heavy it was. What do u prefer?

Test ride each, then decide for yourself. As for me, I’d get the Harley Road King without any hesitation.
The Sportster 883 and the Road King are totally different bikes. Don’t assume that the Road King rides like the Sportster.

Well your talking a big difference in price between the Honda’s and the HD. How much are you willing to spend? You can buy a brand new ’07 model VTX1800 (I think that was the last year they were produced) for around 8000. A new Road King will cost 2 1/2 times more than that, at least. Do you think that the HD is 2 1/2 times a better bike than the Honda? It’s up to you.
EDIT: If you want bulletproof reliability go with the Honda.

I got a 2007 Vstar 1300 in May, my first Cruiser. I’ve been very happy with it. Low center of gravity, easy to maneuver and some real get up and go.

I just purchased a 2006 Honda VTX 1300 and it is wonderful. Quick, looks nice, and reliable.
